On Hiatus.

Hi everyone,

It pains me to say this, but nonetheless I have to say it. Cradle of Faith is hereby officially on hiatus. Due to commitment constraints this year, we've decided that Cradle of Faith will take a one year break. Caron and Steffy are having their O's this year and Aaron is in the army. It has been a good 1/2 a year for all of us as a band. We've grown from a 4 piece band to a 6 piece band and we've written our first song. But unfortunately, all of us have other responsibilities this year and we shall have to fulfill it. Don't worry, once everything is settled, Cradle of Faith will definitely be back. Till then, keep us in prayer everyone.

Ok.Since no one has been blogging and aaron cant because he got exam so i shall blog.Im quite boredd anyway.ahaha.anyway,im planning to get a new guitar..thought maybe the band should know.so that i dont always have to use the church guitar.aha.

Oh.i just wanted to share what God kinda told me during CBTL.That we should always live our lives according to God's plans whether good or bad cos in the end,he has our future in his hands.Everything we do,do it onto the Lord.He was the one who created us,molded us and took us into his arms as children of God.So,even if we're jamming or having like..non-service performance,we should still offer it to the Lord as an act of surrendering to him and play our best!

Heyz everyone, this is Samuel, the drummer of COF. Wassup man….here’s a brief intro bout myself n the instrument I love playing…the drums! I started learning drums wen I was in pri sch, can’t exactly remember wen though…but I stopped 4 a period of time because I was to lazy 2 sign up 4 courses. And my drum skills were wasted away…sadly…but thn came COF. They needed a drummer and I was available so I decided 2 play drums 4 thm and I’ve nv looked back since. I thank God for COF because firstly it has given me a platform 2 express my worship to Him thru my talents. Secondly, there is a place 4 me to brush up my drum skills and Thirdly, it has always been my dream to start a band. Everyone, I thank you for being part of COF. Let’s all strive hard together and worship the Lord along the way yeah? Let’s be united in the Spirit and in the music that we play as well. Yupz so thatz bout it…till next time man.

Hi..Yoz.. Heyz.. Oei.. Aloha.. Fellow Servants of Jesus Christ,

I'm Jeffrey Aw, do all of u know me?.. hmmm.. Mayb u all know Zhou Jie Lun oni but it's okay..
Well.. If you all don't know me, u all sure don't know who is the ONE..
Yes!! The ONE my Band-COF is serving..
We are not serving any man..
But we serve a GREAT master.. The King of all king, the Lord of all lord..
That is God, our Father, and his Son, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit that is living in us.
Even thou my Band is not perfect due to the sinfulness that we have..
But we are covered by the blood of the Lamb..
My band and I will pray that we will be the clean vessel for the Lord!!
And the Holy spirit will empower my Band-COF, to a useful instrument for His noble purposes..
To reach out for the lost 1..
Let's pray for each other as a Band.. And hold each other accountable..

woohoo.yups.i oso came fm a two-some! [ his eminence ] n here i am..humbled by the love that u give. in cradle of faith!! tadaa~ my goodness i am so crap! well tahan while u read me intro myself.
hmms.i m honoured to be in this band! n i thank god!! that i can sing here..n jeff coaches me on how to use my diaphragm to sing. (im still trying) hahs.n the ppl are nice ( of coz!) cof rocks! we have a very pro guitarist.drummer.bassist.n acoustictist.n 2 singers!! lalalalalallalalalallala.=p

Hahaha.This week is my turn to blog!!!yeas.Steff here.ok..im supp to say stuff abt myself right?well, i just joined this band like..er...a mth ago?!i was orginally from a two-some,(his eminence).yea..But the kind memebers of COF decided to include us into their band.Now, we're like one big happy family!ahahahaha.Im 15,currently in CHIJ TP sec...and i play the acoustic for the band.Im nt that good..YET.Wait n see.bwahahaha.I also write some of the songs that have yet to be played by the band.-writing in progress-I love this band..the people are so warm, a bit spas(but i still love them) and extremely fun to be with.Although i am the youngest, sometimes i feel like im the oldest..ahahah.KIDDING.Anyways, I LOVE THEM TO BITS.Not forgetting our heavenly father for being with us every step of the way!

hi hi!! erm.. grrr...haix... halo! This is Wieky here, I play the guitar for Cradle of Faith!! This is my very first band!!! And it rocks!!! I love to be in this band =) everyone is so friendly and kind to me :D especially Samuel Chin (the best drummer)! LOLx...
Let me introduce more about myself, basically I am just a childish 15 year old boy who is a little crazy about guitars!! But I love God more than anything else not even my dream guitar or whatever can compare to Him. Hmmx... I have been playing the guitar for about 2 years since I was primary 6 i think.. my main guitar style is Classical! But I play the lead/electric guitar for C.O.F most of the time.. I really want to thank God for giving me the talent to play the guitar... and i am gonna use it to glorfiy him always through this band. =) hmm thats all about me! i will talk more next time haha...

Yesterday was band member, Steffy Peng's birthday!! Yeahhh *applause* She turned 15 and our band has now exactly three 18yr old & 3 15yr old members. Steffy, may God bless u richly in your life, and He will never stop loving you. Thanks for being part of Cradle Of Faith. With you in the team, we'll be able to do so much more

Hi and a big warm welcome to Cradle of Faith's official blog. Here you'll find out about upcoming songs and performances by our band. We'll try our best to update at least once a week.

Here's a brief introduction to our band.

Cradle Of Faith was formed out of a response to Bethesda (Bedok Tampines) Church's Youth Service Talentime. Originally consisting of four members, namely Wieky, Aaron, Jeffrey and Samuel. They realised a need to write their own songs and in such recruited the help of Caron and Steffy who were reknowned in church for their song writing abilities. Thus Cradle Of Faith was officially formed. The purpose of this band is to first and foremost, glorify the Most High God with our given talents.

As we start out on this new journey, it is our prayer that you will join us along and see how the Lord will work in this band.
